Trying to open the directory menu on the top panel displays an error saying no such file or directory. This is because its looking for the original home folder that Blender-boot was made with. To fix this right click on the folder icon and select remove then right click on the panel go down to panel and select add new items then Directory menu. As there is no way to fix this in beta will remove the directory menu from the panels default config and people can choose to add it after install if they want.
